Topic: The Role of Compliance in an AI Enabled Enterprise

Summary: Artificial intelligence is becoming embedded across business functions, creating new opportunities for compliance teams and creating new categories of risk for the enterprise. For compliance programs, this reality brings a three part mandate: using AI effectively within the compliance function, governing AI use across the business and its third parties, and being prepared to respond when AI creates or contributes to an incident.

  • Identify appropriate uses of AI within the compliance department including AI agents

Audience: This event is open to all compliance & ethics professionals and those in related fields.

Location: This is a virtual program conducted on the Zoom platform. Access link will be provided to registrants with their order confirmation.

CEU/CLE: We are happy to provide up to 1.25 credits for SHRM. This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and the GA Bar is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs (SCCE) and CLEs (GA Bar). Additionally, participants can request a participation certificate to use to self-submit for other professional development credits, including CPEs with the GA State Accountancy Board. Credits will be issued based on actual run time and attendance.

Dr. Emily McIntosh | Senior Manager, Forensic & Integrity Services | EY

Dr. Emily McIntosh is an executive in EY’s Forensics & Integrity Services practice focused on Artificial Intelligence. She serves on the Sedona Conference’s AI Working Group Steering Committee and as the AI Chair for Analytics Magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board. At Southern Methodist University, Dr. McIntosh is an adjunct faculty in the Operations Research and Engineering Management department where she also serves on the Industry Advisory Board. In her personal life, she is passionate about fighting cancer as an American Cancer Society North Texas Board Member and a Wish Granter through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.


Jeremy Osinski | Partner, Forensic & Integrity Services | EY

Jeremy leads AI-enabled forensics solutions and teams at Ernst & Young LLP. He brings particular focus and an innovative lens to leverage emergent technologies, advanced analytics and data science within the legal, integrity and compliance space. Jeremy assists clients across multiple sectors in enhancing their integrity programs through data-driven techniques. He focuses on AI-enabled integrity monitoring solutions, forensic data analytics and cybercrime. He is a cofounder of the EY flagship compliance and integrity platform, “EY Virtual,” and has delivered technology-enabled managed services and efficient software-as-a-service solutions to clients around the world. Jeremy is a frequent speaker on harnessing new technologies within the legal, compliance and risk management functions in practical and cost-effective ways.

Sam Casey | Associate General Counsel | Cox Enterprises

Sam Casey is an Associate General Counsel at Cox Enterprises, where he advises on product risk management and regulatory compliance in the automotive industry. In addition to advising on regulatory risks, Sam’s team plays a central role in managing emerging issues at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data privacy, and technology risk, helping the organization navigate evolving legal standards while enabling responsible innovation. Sam works closely with compliance, technology, and business stakeholders to develop practical approaches to AI governance, privacy protection, and the ethical use of data.

In addition to Sam’s legal practice, Sam maintains a strong personal interest in software development and artificial intelligence. Outside of work, Sam actively engages in building and experimenting with software and AI‑driven tools, which informs a practical, technically grounded perspective on compliance and risk management. This blend of legal expertise and hands‑on technical experience allows Sam to bridge the gap between legal requirements and real‑world system design and deployment.
