Audience: This event is an ACE member exclusive! Corporate members have six seats to share with their compliance & ethics professionals and those in related fields.

CEU/CLE: We are happy to provide up to 1.5 credits for SHRM. This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and the GA Bar is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs (SCCE) and CLEs (GA Bar). Additionally, participants can request a participation certificate to use to self-submit for other professional development credits, including CPEs with the GA State Accountancy Board. Credits will be issued based on actual run time and attendance.

Munir Abdallah is a 40-year veteran of the pulp and paper industry. He has spent the past 28 years in various leadership roles at GP Cellulose, including serving as president since 2019. Before joining Georgia-Pacific, he held various sales and commercial roles at Riocell in Brazil.

Munir earned an undergraduate degree in business administration and a post-graduate degree in foreign trade from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos) in Brazil.

Angela Kolar  |  Chief Compliance Officer | Norfolk Southern

Angie is a high-octane leader with proven impact in crisis leadership and risk management, built on a foundation of operations experience. Following a high-profile train derailment, she was recruited by Norfolk Southern to lead their crisis management, business continuity, and compliance program transformations. As head of Operations for Colonial Pipeline Company, she held P&L responsibility and drove optimization efforts resulting in significant improvement to the bottom line. She has routinely advised Boards and Audit Committees on crisis response and enterprise-level risks.

Appointed by the U.S. Secretary of the Department of Transportation, Angie served on the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s Liquid Pipeline Advisory Committee. She has also served as Chair of the pipeline industry Safety Management System team and Chair of the American Petroleum Institute Pipeline Steering Group. She now Chairs the Association of American Railroads Compliance Committee. Angie serves on the Boards of OnBoard, Inc. and Hope Atlanta.
