Summary: This program explores how compliance professionals can identify, prevent, and manage conflicts before they become ethical or legal failures. Our panel will dive into real-world scenarios, practical tools, and proven guardrails that support sound decision-making and a culture of integrity. Attendees will leave with clear strategies to set boundaries, handle disclosures, and lead confidently through complex risk situations.

  • Identify common and emerging conflicts of interest in real-world business and compliance scenarios, including financial, personal, and organizational pressures
  • Evaluate how policies, controls, and culture function as “guardrails” to prevent, disclose, and manage conflicts before they escalate into misconduct
  • Apply practical tools and decision frameworks to set clear boundaries, respond to disclosures, and guide employees through ethically complex situations

Audience: This event is open to all compliance & ethics professionals and those in related fields.

Location: This is a virtual program conducted on the Zoom platform. Access link will be provided to registrants with their order confirmation.

CEU/CLE: We are happy to provide up to 1.25 credits for SHRM. This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and the GA Bar is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs (SCCE) and CLEs (GA Bar). Additionally, participants can request a participation certificate to use to self-submit for other professional development credits, including CPEs with the GA State Accountancy Board. Credits will be issued based on actual run time and attendance.

Keith Hawley | Project Leader | The Home Depot

Keith Hawley, a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) for over 15 years, is a Project Leader at The Home Depot. With over 35 years in big box retail, including two decades dedicated to compliance and ethics, Keith brings practical expertise to corporate governance. He leverages this experience to operate effective compliance programs, managing key areas spanning corporate policies, hotlines, and conflicts of interest. Keith oversees the project planning and execution of the company’s annual Code of Conduct Certification program. His practical approach helps business partners navigate potential conflicts of interest, ensuring ethical clarity and sound business practices across the organization.

Allison Sidbury | Sr. Corporate Counsel | Delta Air Lines

Allison Sidbury is Senior Corporate Counsel on the Ethics and Compliance team. Allison joined the Delta Law Department in August 2022. She is responsible for supporting Delta’s U.S. Government contracts, international trade compliance, third party due diligence, the Delta Risk Council, Geopolitical Risk Committee, internal investigations, trainings, and other compliance program initiatives. Prior to joining Delta, she held in-house counsel roles in the insurance industry where she worked as the 2nd Vice President of Compliance for Protective Life Corporation and Regulatory Counsel for Kemper Corporation. Allison obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law.

Ben’s career as a compliance professional spans two distinct phases: the first as an advisory professional who served as a compliance consultant to several dozen life sciences organizations, the second as an in house compliance leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Throughout his career, he has served as a business enabling partner by building fit for purpose compliance programs. A lifelong Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, he now resides in the perimeter area with his wife, dog, and three children.
